Ellis takes the easy shape of a hoodie and knits it in a fine, soft gauge. It pulls on over the head, with a drawcord hood finished with metal tips, a clean front without a pocket, and ribbed cuffs and hem.

Because it is a knit rather than a sweatshirt, it keeps a neat line and sits under a coat without bulk at the shoulders. Wear it with dark jeans and clean trainers, or with chinos and an overcoat for travel and dinners out. Five colours: camel, cornflower, sage, light grey and black.

Sized XS to 2XL. The maker publishes no size chart for this piece; the fit is classic, so take your usual size.
